🎶 Own a True Piece of
Broadway History: Original 2002 'MOVIN' OUT' Theatre Display! 🎶
♯ Are you a die-hard
Billy Joel fan, a Broadway aficionado, or a collector of rare theatrical
memorabilia? This is your chance to own a piece of the Great White Way!
♭ Up for grabs is an incredibly
rare, 14” x 22” cardboard poster from the original 2002 Broadway run of Movin'
Out. This isn't a standard reprint—this is one of only two posters that
originally hung in the lobby of the legendary Richard Rodgers Theatre during
the show's debut.
🎶 Relive the magic of the
groundbreaking rock ballet that captivated audiences for over 1,300
performances!
Conceived, directed, and choreographed by the legendary
Twyla Tharp, Movin' Out revolutionized the jukebox musical. Set to the
unforgettable soundtrack of the "Piano Man" himself, Billy Joel, the
show brought beloved lyrical characters to life—including high school
sweethearts Brenda and Eddie, James, Judy, Sergeant O'Leary, and Tony.
🎶 Instead of traditional
musical theater singing, a live band and pianist were suspended above the stage
while incredible dancers transformed Joel's classic tunes into a vivid,
heart-pounding rock ballet about American youth on Long Island during the 1960s
and the Vietnam War. It was a massive critical success, ultimately taking home
the 2003 Tony Awards for Best Choreography and Best Orchestrations!
